By @elonatheexplorer // This has to be one of my all time favorite pics. I came to Iceland with one pair of shoes that my mom promised to be “non slip” … Little did I know they even slipped on DRY surfaces, let alone on ice. I crawled on both knees to take this picture and it was so worth it 😂 isn’t this rainbow just the greatest thing ever. I love Iceland - I cannot wait to go back. 😻Have you been to Iceland?!

Some of the best days of travel aren’t where you see the super touristy sites. Sometimes it is sitting on a balcony in Cusco having a Chai Tea Latte, some toast and jam and watching locals go about there everyday life in the streets.
Completely Agree.

Emmanuel Cauchy on the Traversee de la Lune (ED+), the first complete traverse of the Grand Ross (1850m) and Petit Ross (1721m) on the isolated Kerguelen Islands in the southern Indian Ocean. The Kerguelens are about 2000 miles away from the next populated island, and so this may be one of the most remote climbs on earth. [Photo] Lionel Daudet.
